BMC, a global developer of respiratory and sleep healthcare solutions, presented its latest developments at the MEDICA 2024 exhibition in Germany.
CoughSync: Innovation in Noninvasive Ventilation
A notable new feature is CoughSync, a noninvasive device that simulates natural coughing to clear secretions in patients on invasive ventilation. Its 100EU model works in sync with ventilators, suctioning sputum without interrupting ventilation.
PAP Link Web: Cloud Data Management
Another innovation was PAP Link Web, a global cloud-based platform for managing patient data. It allows clinicians to monitor treatments, generate reports, offer remote assistance and manage health insurance reimbursements. This system integrates with BMC’s sleep, ventilation and healthcare devices, creating an efficient and easy-to-use digital ecosystem.
Commitment to Sustainability and International Collaboration
In addition to presenting devices and platforms, BMC reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable technologies and international collaboration at MEDICA 2024. This approach enables the company to offer comprehensive solutions for the changing respiratory and sleep care.
Global Collaboration and Product Development
Lyla Niu, Sales Director for BMC’s international unit, highlighted the importance of global collaboration and noted that they are “working hand in hand with experts and doctors to develop safer, more efficient and smarter products. Through our R&D centres in China and our office in France, we continue to innovate to meet the needs of patients and professionals, especially in the European market.”
Like BMC at MEDICA 2024, others are driving healthcare technologies to improve public health around the world. Mexico's National Development Plan 2025-2030 highlights innovation in health, focusing on telemedicine and digitalization of medical records to optimize care and overall well-being.
