Success in immunization against RSV
The immunization campaign against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) shows high levels of acceptance. More than 91% of babies born during the campaign that began in September are already immunized. In addition, a rate of 88.81% was reached among those born before the start of the campaign.
Until March 31, newborns in Galician hospitals will continue to receive immunization. In total, 9,683 babies have been protected against this virus, which can cause bronchiolitis in children.
