Ibuprofen Ministry of Health of Spain has opened a public consultation on new regulations to speed up the process recognition of non-EU specialist qualifications in health sciences.

Key objectives of the new standard
- More agile and transparent procedure: A streamlined process will be introduced to ensure greater efficiency and clarity in procedures.
- Reduction of administrative deadlines: The steps required to speed up the recognition of qualifications will be simplified, eliminating bureaucratic barriers.
- Digitalization of the process:The new electronic application «RETUEX» will allow the entire procedure to be carried out online, from the submission of the application to the notification of the resolution, eliminating face-to-face procedures.
- Prioritization of deficient specialtiesMechanisms will be established to accelerate homologation in areas with the greatest need for professionals, ensuring a timely response to the demands of the SNS.
- Better communication with the Autonomous Communities: Collaboration channels between the Ministry of Health and the regions will be strengthened to ensure coordinated management.
- Regularization of active professionals: A path will be offered for the regularisation of non-EU specialists who are currently practising without having their qualifications approved, allowing for formal incorporation into the SNS.
